GEORGE VAN HORN.
George Van Horn, aged 72 years, died at his residence No. 141 Lloyd avenue, Edgewood, shortly after midnight Friday night after a lingering illness. He was born in Clearfield county in 1835. His parents were early settlers in Clearfield and during his life he was well known as a millman and in the mercantile business in Braddock. He was a member of Post 181 of the G.A.R. and a member of the First Methodist Protestant Church of Swissvale. He leaves his widow and three children.

MRS. HANNAH R. VAN HORN.

Mrs. Hannah R. Van Horn, aged 77, widow of George W. Van Horn, died Tuesday in the home of her son, Clarence E. Van Horn, of 141 Lloyd ave., Edgewood. She was an active member of the Mifflin Ave. Methodist church. Besides her son, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Hays, Swissvale.

The wedding of Miss Miriam Estella Hays, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Hays of Swissvale, Pa., and John Turner Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harry Maxwell of Perry, Fla., took place Saturday at 9:45 a. m., with Rev. Charles Whitlatch of the Mifflin Avenue Methodist Church officiating. The ceremony was followed by a wedding breakfast at the Penn-Lincoln Hotel. After a trip to Florida Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell will be at home in Wilkinsburg.

JOHN TURNER MAXWELL Died Saturday October 31st, buried in Greenville, Alabama November 2nd. He was born in Lockhart, Alabama July 12th 1907. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth A.
