George Van Horn, aged 72 years, died at his residence No. 141 Lloyd avenue, Edgewood, shortly after midnight Friday night after a lingering illness. He was born in Clearfield county in 1835. His parents were early settlers in Clearfield and during his life he was well known as a millman and in the mercantile business in Braddock. He was a member of Post 181 of the G.A.R. and a member of the First Methodist Protestant Church of Swissvale. He leaves his widow and three children. |
