-Know Ye that the said Moses Norman for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings ''[5s]'' current money well and truly paid by Uriah Edwards of the said County, and Province which He doth hereby acknowledge, Hath given, granted, bargained and sold, aliened, Enfeoff'd and Confirmed, and by these Presents Doth fully, freely, clearly, and absolutely, give, grant, bargain, Sell, alien, Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Uriah Edwards his Heirs and Assigns two Tracts of Land, One containing Eighteen ''[18]'' Acres, being part of a Tract granted by Joseph Blake Esqr. ''[Esquire]'' Governor  to William Norman Junior, dated the eighth day of September 1697 ''[08 Sep 1697]'' and the yearly Rent of One Shilling pr ''[per]'' hundred Acres and from him regularly consigned to the said Moses Norman: butting and bounding to the northward on Joseph Boon: Southward on part of the said Land now belonging to Thomas Waring Esqr.: To the Westward on the other Tract of Land containing Twenty eight ''[28]'' Acres granted to the said Moses Norman by Robert Johnson Esqr. Governor the twenty fourth Day of May Anno Domini 1733 ''[24 May 1733]''. Pursuant to his Majesty's Instructions at the Rent after the Rate of three Shillings Sterling or four Shillings Proclamation Money for one hundred Acres on every Twenty fifth Day of March reference being had to both the said Grants. -Together with all and Singular the Ways, Profits, Easements, Immunities, Privileges, Rights, Commodities, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances thereunto belonging, or any ways appertaining. To Have and To Hold, use, occupy, possess and enjoy the abovesaid granted Premisses ''[sic]'' and their appurtenances to him the said Uriah Edwards his Heirs and Assigns forever, for his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof. He or they Yielding and Paying the same to his Majesty his Heirs and Successors on every twenty fifth Day of March after the rate of One Shilling for one hundred Acres for the eighteen ''[18]'' Acres abovementioned, and after the rate of three Shillings Sterling, or four Shillings Proclamation Money for one Hundred Acres for the abovementioned Twenty eight ''[28]'' Acres. And the said Moses Norman for himself his Heirs, Executors, and Administrators Doth Covenant, and Promise to and with the said Uriah Edwards his Heirs and Assigns in manner and form following (that is to say) that at the time of this present Bargain and Sale, He the said Moses Norman is the true sole and lawfull ''[sic]'' Owner of all the abovesaid Premisses and standeth rightly possessed of the same in free and common Soccage ''[sic: Socage]'', and that He the said Moses Norman hath in himself good Right, full Power and lawfull authority to grant, sell, and convey and assure the Premisses in manner and form aforesaid: And that the said Uriah Edwards his Heirs and Assigns shall and may from henceforth and forever hereafter by virtue and force of these Presents, lawfully and peaceably and quietly have, hold, use, occupy, possess and enjoy all the above granted Premisses, and their appurtenances without any Lett Molestation, Denial, Trouble, or Contradictions of him the said Moses Norman, his Heirs Executors and Administrators or any other Person or Persons whatsoever, and that the said Moses Norman will make, sign, seal and ratyfie ''[sic: ratify]'' and confirm such farther and other lawful and reasonable Act, thing and Devices in and about the Premisses, as shall be thought necessary by the said Uriah Edwards his Heirs and Assigns, at the proper Costs and Charges of the said Uriah Edwards+Together with all and Singular the Ways, Profits, Easements, Immunities, Privileges, Rights, Commodities, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances thereunto belonging, or any ways appertaining.
