Will of Ann Norman, Liberty Co., GA, 31 Jan 1804

I Ann Norman of the County of Liberty State of Georgia calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved sister Sarah Way my negroe girl Nanny to her and her heirs and if she does not amount to one fourth part of my Estate the deficiency to be made up to her out of my Estate

Item It is my will that there shall be paid unto my nephew Micajah Andrews in cash one fourth part of my Estate within one year after my decease

Item It is my will that my Nephew and my niece Joseph and Mary Norman be paid one other fourth part of my Estate to be equally divided between them which payment to be made them within one year after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my friend Samuel Spencer my Negroe wench Hazar and her children Stephen and Nanny to him & his heirs and whatever they shall be appraised to at, over and above one fourth part of my Estate to be paid unto my heirs before mentioned within one year after my decease

I constitute and appoint my Nephew Micajah Andrews, my friend, Joseph Way Senr., and Samuel Spencer Executors of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby ratify and confirm this to be my last will & testament – –

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of January Eighteen hundred & four [31 Jan 1804]

The testatrix before signing gave unto her beloved Sister in addition to what she had already given her her wearing apparel and her Bed & furniture – –
