South Carolina.

By virtue of a precept to me directed by Wm. ''[William]'' D. Brahm Esq. ''[Esquire]'' Surv. ''[Surveyor]'' General, bearing date the 6th day of January 1756 ''[06 Jan 1756]'', I have admeasd ''[admeasured]'' and laid out unto Mr. **Gideon Couturier** a tract of land containing one hundred ''[100]'' acres, situate lying and being in the Parish of St. Stephens, County of Craven, in the Province of South Carolina: Butting and bounding Wrdly ''[Westwardly]'' on lands of Mr. **Isaac Dubose**, and on all other sides on lands then vacant, but since surveyd for Mr. **Peter Gourdin**. And hath such shapes forms and marks as are represented in the above delineated plat. 

Certified by me this 13th January 1756.
