About Me
My name is Ken Norman. I've been involved in genealogical research since 1997. My overarching research interest is to maximize the availability of primary source information on the internet. Over the years, I've done that a number of ways: I've contributed to the US GenWeb Census Project; I'm a contributor to Find A Grave; and I've transcribed old (mostly handwritten) records and published them to various web sites.
The focus of this wiki is to publish my transcriptions. As with most family researchers, I generally only transcribe documents that support my research of my wife's family or mine. Thus, I don't intend to make this site a transcription clearinghouse of any and all documents. However, if you have transcribed one or more documents related to anyone in my database and would like me to publish it here, please email it to me. Remember to provide all source info for the document. If you want me to credit you as a contributor, please let me know how you want to have your name displayed, and whether you want me to include your email address (or other contact info).
My site is crawled daily by various search engines, so my hope is that my work will be broadly available to anyone whose research intersects mine.
Thank you for visiting. Good luck with your research, and please let me know if I may be of any assistance.
