(A Memorial of Barack [sic: Barak] Norman)

A Deed of gifts bearing date the 17th day of May 1732 [17 May 1732] from Moses Norman of Berkley County to Barak Norman, of the said County of a Tract of Land containing fifty [50] acres, being part of a Tract granted by Joseph Blake Esqr Governor to William Norman Junior dated the 8th day of Sept. one thousand Six hundred and ninety seven [08 Sep 1697], and from him regularly conveyed to the Said Moses Norman, butting and bounding to the Southward on parts of the said Land now sold to Thomas Waring Esqr, westward on parts of the said Land now sold to Thomas Waring Esqr and Thomas Snow, eastward on parts of the said Land, sold to Nathan White, northward on the Broad Road. The rents reserved thereon is one shilling for one hundred acres, payable every year, which said fifty [50] acres of Land is required to be registered by me, pursuant to the law in that case made and provided.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eighteenth day of May one thousand Seven hundred and thirty three [18 May 1733].
