South Carolina.

By virtue of a precept to me directed by Wm. [William] D. Brahm Esq. [Esquire] Surv. [Surveyor] General, bearing date the 6th day of January 1756 [06 Jan 1756], I have admeasd [admeasured] and laid out unto Mr. Gideon Couturier a tract of land containing one hundred [100] acres, situate lying and being in the Parish of St. Stephens, County of Craven, in the Province of South Carolina: Butting and bounding Wrdly [Westwardly] on lands of Mr. Isaac Dubose, and on all other sides on lands then vacant, but since surveyd for Mr. Peter Gourdin. And hath such shapes forms and marks as are represented in the above delineated plat.

Certified by me this 13th January 1756.
