Pursuant to a Precept from John Bremar Esqr [Esquire] D. S. Genl. [Deputy Surveyor General] bearing date the 1st of May 1770 [01 May 1770] I have admeasured and laid out unto John Palmer a tract of Land Containing five hundred [500] acres Situate in St. Stephens Parish in Craven County bounding South on Land of James Ravenel Rene Ravenel and David Boisseau East on Land of Joseph Palmer and John Monk North on Land Called Soho and Normans land and West on vacant land Having such shape and marks as the above plat represents
