An event of interest which is to occur in the very near future is made known in the following announcement: "Mr. and Mrs. Max Hamburger request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter, Lena Louise, to Mr. William Lacy Powers on Tuesday evening, June 7, 1904, at [?] o'clock, at Saint Francis Street Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama." The bride-to-be is a handsome, highly educated and very popular young lady. She is a sister of Mr. Max Hamburger, Jr., editor and general manager of The Daily Herald of this city.
