    *indicating that Jacob & Katherine were Married in 1768

  3. 9/7/1782 Local notices from the Virginia Gazette "James Hayes and Jacob Gardenhire at Prince William advertise a Negro. Mary Ann, taken up with Dumfries She says she is the property of John Hurleston of Charleston, SC. She came to Dumfries with the French Troops as they were passing.
