INDI:EVEN:_PRIM: Y Note: Obituary: Mabel Norman Kilgore Obituary: Mabel Norman Kilgore MOULTRIE -- Mabel Norman Kilgore, 94, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Autreyville Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy McDonald and Calvin Bobo officiating. Burial will be in Oak Dale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonny Murphy, Lewis Woodard, Max Wilson, Lamar Culpepper, Chris Brinson and Steve Stanfill. The VIP Senior Citizens of Autreyville Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Born Jan. 4, 1910, in Worth County, Mrs. Kilgore was the daughter of the late Loretta Richter Causey and Walter Scott Causey. She was retired from Riverside Manufacturing Co. and Colquitt Regional Medical Hospital. She was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Norman. Survivors include her husband, Andrew B. Kilgore of Moultrie; daughters, Barbara Suber and husband Bill, Pat Meadows and husband Darrell, and Jan Spires and husband Bobby, all of Moultrie; stepchildren, Jolene Cato of Moultrie, Angela Kuntson and husband DeWayne of Idaho, Wally Kilgore and wife Sheila of Jacksonville, Fla., Thomas Kilgore and wife Carole of Tallahassee, Fla., and Billy Bruce and wife Evelyn of Phenix City, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Teri Lynn Martin, Kimberly Hobby, Lester Suber, Keith Meadows, Michael Meadows, Yancey Spires and Kela Spires; seven great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and special friends, Kathleen Shiver and Polly Ann Weaver. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. The family may be contacted at the family residence, 158 Trailer Park Road, Moultrie. Memorials may be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice. Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. |
