INDI:EVEN:_PRIM: Y Note: Obituary: Lois Weeks Gordon Obituary: Lois Weeks Gordon MOULTRIE -- Lois Weeks Gordon, 92, of Moultrie died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J.L. Rowan officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Dan Gay, Bobby Gay, Pete Perkins, Brett Asbell, Dion Croft and Dave Chrisley will serve as casketbearers. Born Feb. 28, 1913, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Gordon was the daughter of the late Georgia Anne Norman Weeks and the late Joseph Daniel Weeks. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Gordon. Survivors include a son, Jack D. Gordon and wife Trudy of Moultrie; four grandchildren, Judy Gay and husband Jack, Gisela M. Smith and special friend Steve, and Margaret Gordon, all of Moultrie, and Sherry Jean Gordon Chrisley and husband Dave of Bowling Green, Ky.; six great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. |
