Obituary

Benjamin Rush Gaston.

Benjamin Rush Gaston, a native of Toulminville, Ala., a former resident of Turnerville, Ala., and a resident of Whistler for the past 63 years, died at the family residence, Culbert street, in Whistler, Saturday morning at 10:15 o'clock.

He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Ryals Gaston, five daughters, Mrs. A. P. Stearman, of Whislter; Mrs. Byron George, of Toulminville; Mrs. George Givson, of Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. R. G. Hodges, of Mobile; and Miss Beatric [sic] Gaston, of Whistler; one son, Benjamin R. Gaston, of McGhee [sic: McGehee], Ark.; twenty grandchildren, and other relatives. Funeral services will take place from the family residence on Culvert street Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Whistler cemetery with Roche mortuary in charge.
