So. Carolina:
To all people to whom these presents shall come Moses Norman of the County of Colleton & province of South Carolina Planter sendeth greeting
Know the that I the sd. [said]
Moses Norman for & in consideration of the sum of Fifty three pounds [£53]
currt. [current]
money of this Province to Me in hand at & before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents well & truly paid by Thomas Snow of the County of Berkley & Province aforesaid Tanner the Receipt whereof the sd. Moses Norman do acknowledge & therof [sic]
& of every part & parcel therof do acquit exonerate & discharge the sd. Thos. [Thomas]
Snow & his heirs Execrs. [Executors]
& Admrs. [Administrators]
hath given granted bargain'd sold alien'd enfeof'd & confirmed & by these presents doth fully freely clearly & absolutely give grant bargain sell aliene [sic]
enfeoff & confirm unto the sd. Thos. Snow his heirs & assigns for ever a Plantation or parcel of Land containing twenty six [26]
acres situate lying & being in Berkley County by the head of Ashly [sic: Ashley]
river & is butted & bounded Northerly on the County Road or broad Path & on all other sides on land formerly of the sd. Moses Norman together with all & singular the ways profits Easments [sic]
Immunities Priviledges [sic]
rights Comoditys [sic]
hereditamts [hereditaments]
& appurtenances therunto [sic]
belonging or in any ways appertaining.
