By the Request of the Mr. Daniel Kelly I have Resurveyed a Tract of Land Granted to Mr Paul M[arion] __ _______ ___ for 500 acres but which I find contains but 409 acres. It hath such shape form Marks Buttings and Boundings as this Plan Represents. Certified the 2nd day of April 1814 [02 Apr 1814].

Being under the impression that this Grant is younger than any that it adjoins I have been careful to follow the boundaries mentioned. I have the Courses differ from those Call'd for in the Original which might have been Occasioned by a Bad instrument or Carelesness [sic] in the former Surveyor. On an open line where he call'd for vaca[nt] Land I found a mark'd line. Whether older than this grant or not, I thought proper to Gover [sic] myself by it.
